Perform quantity calculations and develop cost estimates.
Coordinate work activities with other disciplines.

Assist in the development of construction contract documents and review construction documents such as shop and working drawings.
Provide 3D modelling, design, and drafting support for transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, utility vaults, noise abatement walls, sign structures, ITS structures, etc.

Prior experience with structural design software such as: Openbridge, CSIBridge, or STAAD.
Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Standards.
Familiarity with plan development with CADD (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD).
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structures.
Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
0-2 years of experience in bridge design and/or detailing.
Knowledge of geometry, design manuals, and design guidelines.
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and produce quality work as part of a design team.
