The Senior Manager, Security and Resilience will join the Liberty Global Security team to deliver business‑focused security and resilience controls. The role sits at the intersection of Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery and broader security risk management, ensuring integrated, end‑to‑end capabilities that align with the company’s evolving threat landscape.
Key responsibilities include shaping the resilience strategy, governing the programme, overseeing the security service provider’s Business Continuity services, and enhancing crisis‑management capabilities. The role partners with senior business leaders, technology stakeholders and IT continuity teams to identify risks, define recovery objectives, and embed controls throughout the organisation.
- Develop deep understanding of business goals and engage senior leaders on security and resilience to drive risk‑based decisions.
- Lead and continuously improve the Liberty Global Resilience Programme, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and business requirements.
- Oversee business continuity services from the security service provider, including impact assessments and plan development.
- Identify strategic resilience risks with business and technology partners and create proportionate mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with IT continuity teams to close infrastructure resilience gaps and define recovery time objectives.
- Enhance Crisis Management capability through preparedness, response planning and ongoing improvement.
- Produce and present resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery reports for senior stakeholders.
- Design and deliver resilience training, exercises and testing to validate control effectiveness.
- Own creation, maintenance and enhancement of BCM and DR governance frameworks, policies and documentation.
- Serve as the primary security and resilience advisor to senior leadership, guiding secure and resilient initiatives.
- Facilitate security and resilience support for business projects, acting as the liaison between business units and Group Security.
- Apply security expertise to assess and improve existing processes, strengthening the overall control environment.
- Embed information security and resilience policies into business processes, ensuring pragmatic, sustainable outcomes.
- Build strong cross‑functional relationships to understand risks and drive the resilience roadmap.

Success in this role requires a proven record of delivering enterprise‑wide resilience programmes, supporting incident and crisis management, and applying best‑practice security controls across cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP and AWS. The candidate must be skilled at risk identification, remediation design, and translating technical requirements into clear, business‑aligned guidance while communicating effectively with senior audiences.
Desirable experience includes advisory work for technology and AI deployments, familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, and understanding of regulations like GDPR and PCI‑DSS. Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CRISC) and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset are also valued.
- Demonstrate expertise in cloud security and resilience across Azure, Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
