The Superintendent will oversee site preparation, coordinate subcontractors, manage union relations, and ensure compliance with specifications, OSHA standards, and EEO requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and schedules. They will also generate look‑ahead schedules and verify utility locates prior to excavation.

- Ensure all work meets project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractor operations.
- Manage the local union relationship.
- Supervise all on‑site employees for assigned projects.
- Ensure EEO requirements are met and documented.
- Complete required paperwork, including daily timesheets with photo documentation, safe cards, weekly toolbox talks, onboarding, daily diaries, delivery tickets with cost codes, and fuel receipts.
- Send daily timesheets and diary notes from Foremen under the Superintendent’s supervision.
- Enter completed quantities daily and accurately.
- Generate a two‑week look‑ahead schedule covering activities, equipment, personnel, material needs, and QC testing.
- Verify utility locates before any excavation.
- Maintain all tools and equipment assigned to the project.
- Complete equipment checklists as necessary.
- Ensure required materials and equipment are on site as scheduled.
- Maximize equipment utilization on the project.
- Oversee work, including subcontractors’, for compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks on the first day of each work week and submit sign‑in sheets.
- Complete and turn in daily safe cards.
