In this role you will lead requirements gathering for large, multi‑stakeholder programs, develop business cases and ensure full traceability of requirements through design, build, testing and deployment. You will conduct AS‑IS and TO‑BE process analysis using BPMN 2.0, collaborate with architects, solution designers, finance and operational leaders, and act as a trusted advisor to executives while mentoring junior analysts and contributing to governance forums.
The Senior Business Analyst role is based in Melbourne at 655 Collins St and is a full‑time, permanent hybrid position requiring three days in the office. It is designed for experienced professionals who excel at solving complex business challenges, influencing senior stakeholders and driving transformational change, and it is open only to Australian citizens.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, deep experience in utilities, transport, telecommunications or other asset‑intensive industries, and expertise in implementing or optimising Field Service Management systems. A solid understanding of finance and commercial processes, advanced facilitation and negotiation abilities, and excellent executive‑level communication are essential.
A minimum of seven years’ business analysis experience in IT environments is required, including extensive practice in business process modelling (BPMN 2.0) and large‑scale ERP or finance‑related implementations. Proficiency with Visio, JIRA, Confluence and advanced data analysis methods, along with exposure to Agile frameworks, is expected.
