Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose geotechnical solutions
Plan and manage site investigations, laboratory testing, and associated health and safety requirements
Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation
Conduct geotechnical analysis and design (e.g. foundations, retention systems, earthworks, seismic assessments) for buildings and infrastructure projects
Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development and client relationship building

Typically, 3-4 years’ experience in geotechnical engineering with sound knowledge of the Sydney ground conditions
Strong experience planning, managing and delivering field investigations on site and associated reporting
Strong communication, report writing and stakeholder engagement skills
A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master Geotechnical Engineering) and eligibility for chartership
Some exposure to doing geotechnical design (e.g. foundations, retaining walls or slopes) or scoping investigations to address design needs/adjust scope to investigations to respond to encountered conditions on site
