Produce site plans, construction documents, and engineering calculations
Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and delivery

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Conceptual Design, DD, Construction Documents, permitting, construction administration, and as-builts
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Registered P.E. in North Carolina and South Carolina
A leading land development consulting firm is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Civil Engineer for a Project Manager role in its Charlotte, NC office. This position is ideal for a registered Civil Engineer ready to take the next step in their career, manage project teams, and oversee the production of high-quality site plans, construction documents, and related calculations for a variety of land development projects.
Ability to quickly learn local ordinances and rezoning processes
Proficiency in Civil 3D 2025 and related software (HydroCad, Hydraflow Hydrograph, Hydraflow Storm Sewer, HEC-RAS, WaterCad)
Strong design skills in site layout, grading, storm drainage, SCM/stormwater management, erosion control, earthwork balancing, and gravity sewer/water systems; pump station, forcemain, and low-pressure sewer experience a plus
Minimum 5 years of experience preferred
Ability to lead or co-manage projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and budgets
Private-sector experience with builders and developers, particularly in large greenfield and infill single-family residential (SFD, townhomes); experience in multifamily, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects is a plus
