Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements
Perform independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation

Coordinate and work with a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects
Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources
Design and analysis of freeways, interstate highways, interchanges, urban and rural roadways, and shared-use trails
Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
Negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with sub-consultants, and clients
Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of engineering and construction-related issues

Prepare, review, and/or approve proposals, contracts, or cost estimates
Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of transportation projects
Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders
Lead a project team consisting of engineers, designers, and field personnel involved in the design, modification, analysis, and constructability of water systems
Assist in proposal preparation including oral presentations. Also prepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projects

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
8+ years experience with plan preparation procedures and standards
Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
Professional Civil Engineering certification (P.E.)
Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets
Hydraulics and traffic experience is a plus
