Key responsibilities include production and verification of 3D BIM models and 2D drawings for mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fire components in water supply, wastewater and industrial effluent projects, as well as pump stations and treatment plants. You will ensure technical quality assurance, adhere to schedules and BIM execution plans, review work, and drive a culture of accountability. Coordination with other disciplines, handling design changes, and maintaining construction document accuracy are essential.
The position requires leveraging BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud, AutoCAD for drawing linkage and cleanup, and Design Review for collaboration. You will develop discipline‑specific BIM content, prepare print drawing sets, export DWF and other formats, and support BIM coordination meetings with high‑level communication and writing skills.
- Produce and verify 3D BIM models and 2D drawings for mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire systems.
- Ensure technical quality assurance and compliance with schedule, BIM Execution Plan, and content standards.
- Collaborate with regional Arcadis teams and other disciplines to resolve design changes and model challenges.
- Export models in DWF and other formats for internal and external coordination.
- Utilize AutoCAD for drawing linkage and cleanup, and Design Review for collaboration with professional staff.
- Lead development of discipline‑specific BIM content and prepare print drawing sets for reviews.
- Provide design input, coordinate with CAD staff, and create complex layouts from specifications.
- Maintain compliance with Arcadis business management system and health & safety policies.
- Apply automation programming (Dynamo, Python, Synchro) where applicable.

Qualifications include a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, 10+ years of BIM Technician experience, and proven expertise in Revit modeling for the mentioned domains. Knowledge of automation programming (Dynamo, Python, Synchro) and additional Autodesk or Bentley tools is preferred, as is experience on international projects (US/Canada/UK/Middle East). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels are required.

- Prefer candidates with international project experience (US/Canada/UK/Middle East) and knowledge of Autodesk/Bentley tools.
