Support the permitting process of projects, which may require meeting with clients, contractors, interested stakeholder parties, and reviewing agency personnel.
Design alternative water source, advanced water purification, and related water and wastewater projects as a project engineer, including pilot studies; engineering calculations, drawings, and reports; client presentations and required applications to regulatory and/or funding agencies.
Conduct quality assurance and quality control on own products and facilitate independent technical review of these projects.
Participate in development of water reuse solutions with clients. This includes, but may not be limited to facetoface client interactions, site visits, technical training for client staff, workshop presentations on treatment technology, planning, regulatory frameworks, etc.
Engage in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
Prepare and coordinate pilot studies, engineering studies, design reports, and project specifications with construction documents.
Coordinate with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, subcontractors, and vendors.
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to develop and manage the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule.
Assist in the development and updates of project design standards and guidelines; prepares abstracts and technical papers.

General understanding of all phases of project document production, client procurement procedures, and regulatory approval processes.
