The Make Ready Technician position at Two Park Central ensures vacant apartments are market‑ready and meet Hines standards. You will complete repairs, improvements, and inspections, maintain common areas, and uphold safety and quality procedures. The role pays $23–$26 per hour and may require varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Complete all repairs and improvements to apartment units before resident move‑in.
- Verify units meet Hines quality standards and are market ready.
- Maintain property grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Perform general cleaning, pressure washing, and trash removal.
- Inspect and repair sheetrock and wall finishes as needed.
- Ensure interior caulking and sealing around sinks, showers, bathtubs, and windows.
- Follow proper safety techniques and report injuries or accidents.
- Use hand, power, and testing tools safely and return them after use.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement and suggest solutions.
- Keep safety information current and comply with OSHA regulations.
- Support cost‑cutting by verifying parts suitability before replacement.
- Respond respectfully to resident and service inquiries, prioritizing work orders.
- Clean and paint equipment after use.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and property guidelines.
- Complete all required training within stipulated timeframes.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for job tasks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or other malfunctions and provide solutions.
