Technical Coordinator

Description

Reporting directly to the Senior Technical Manager / Technical Director, this role will focus on the delivery and coordination of residential projects, ensuring that designs are practical, compliant and aligned with the company’s vision. Whilst no drawing work will be required, the successful candidate will play a key role in influencing and managing the design process.

• Design management and coordination of standard house types.
• Liaising with Building Control and ensuring compliance across all projects.
• Coordinating and managing external consultants to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Attending meetings with external stakeholders and carrying out site visits as required.
• Advising on Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) and current Building Regulations.
• Progressing planning applications and consents through construction drawings, ensuring readiness for build on site.
• Overseeing and managing working drawings from concept through to completion.

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of projects, they are now seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator or Senior Technical Coordinator with an architectural background to join their expanding team.

• A strong and varied project portfolio is preferable but not essential.
• Excellent knowledge of Building Regulations, design processes and MMC.
• Proven experience in a Technical Coordinator or similar role, ideally with an architectural bias and within residential development.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
