Support data governance processes, including metadata tagging, ownership identification, and maintaining clear data lineage.
Collaborate with the DBA/Data Engineer to design and build ETL pipelines that bring data from source systems into the warehouse, ensuring centralised and reliable access for users.
Translate informal user needs into well-defined, documented data requirements and specifications.
Assist with ongoing reporting needs for both the business and our clients.
Work alongside software developers to understand data-modelling needs and contribute to the creation of robust, scalable systems.

Comfortable working with a range of database technologies — including relational databases (SQL), NoSQL systems, REST APIs, and even spreadsheets.
Solid understanding of data governance and industry best practices, particularly in relation to ISO27001.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
A relevant qualification is desirable.
Experience using business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) to transform data into meaningful insights.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools and building reliable, well-structured data pipelines through scripting.
Excellent communicator who collaborates well across teams and the wider business, with strong documentation skills and the ability to clearly present their work.
