The position is located at the Florida Keys Outlet Marketplace and is primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the center's common areas, including the parking lot, sidewalks, and service bays. It also involves emptying trash receptacles, tenant dumpsters, and operating a trash compactor.
The successful candidate will routinely inspect and patrol both interior and exterior spaces, performing custodial duties such as sweeping, wet‑mopping, steam cleaning, and vacuuming. Responsibilities include cleaning and restocking restrooms, managing trash removal, operating high‑reach equipment for elevated surfaces, and assisting other departments during events. The role also requires establishing cleaning procedures, maintaining inventory and records, and adhering to OSHA and other safety standards.
- Inspect and patrol interior and exterior facility areas.
- Perform custodial duties: sweep, wet‑mop, steam clean, vacuum.
- Clean and restock restrooms; empty trash receptacles and operate compactor.
- Operate high‑reach/lift equipment for elevated cleaning tasks.
- Assist other departments, such as Marketing, during events.
- Establish and follow scheduled cleaning procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with management and co‑workers.
- Follow OSHA and safety standards; maintain inventory and records.
- Report damaged or missing property and notify supervisor.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) with technical certifications or training valued, the ability to read and interpret documents, and strong communication skills for interacting with management, employees, tenants, and external contacts. Candidates must be self‑starters capable of independent work and multitasking, possess knowledge of safety and accident‑prevention measures, be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
