Provide feedback continuously with regards our IT systems that track shipments, inventory and the supply of goods, in order to make improvements.
Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records
Track order status, expedite deliveries, and resolve supply delays
Request and compare quotations to support cost-effective purchasing decisions
Source and evaluate suppliers for mechanical and fabrication materials, tools, equipment, and subcontracted services
Measure and report procurement savings and cost avoidance to agreed standards.
Work closely with engineering, project management, stores, and finance teams to understand requirements
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Manage an efficient flow of materials to ensure workshops and sites receive material on time
Maintain supplier data, price lists, and documentation
Clearing and resolving queries with Finance relating to payment of suppliers.
Assist with continuous improvement of procurement processes
Support contract negotiations and supplier onboarding
Ensure all procurement activity aligns with quality, safety, and compliance standards
Monitor inventory levels and support stock control activities

1-2 years' experience in procurement, supply chain, or an administrative/commercial support role (engineering/manufacturing environment preferred)
Flexibility and the ability to handle multiple requests from across several areas.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative under minimal supervision
Ability to organise and support annual stock takes.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to quickly build relationships with relevant parties
Strong attention to detail
High level of motivation with a strong sense of customer (internal and external) with focus and teamwork.
Working towards or interested in pursuing a procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS) is desirable
Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prepare and maintain records and files in an automated system
Power BI knowledge
Knowledge of process pipe, fittings and in lines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders to satisfy.
