Supervisor - Structures

Description

You will be working closely with the Project Manager and other Supervisors to ensure that the overall site operations and the delivery of the project is running smoothly.

• Support the Senior Supervisor with short-term planning, lookaheads, and daily work coordination.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project quality requirements.
• Provide hands-on supervision of direct labour and subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, and program targets are achieved.
• Manage and sequence works including concrete pours, drilling operations, electrical interfaces, head lock installation, and anchor installation activities.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, drilling, electrical, and specialist subcontractors to minimise disruptions and clashes.
• Coordinate and supervise daily on-site operations across multiple structural work fronts on the dam project.
• Assist with site reporting, pre-starts, toolbox talks, and effective communication with engineers and project stakeholders.
• Actively implement and enforce safety, environmental, and waste management controls in line with SRG Global systems.
• Monitor progress, identify constraints or risks, and proactively assist in resolving site issues.
• Maintain a strong site presence on the dam wall and active work areas, leading by example.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a Supervisory position.
• Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex concrete/strengthening works on bulk water infrastructure projects, water-retaining structures or bridges.
• Experience working with drilling and anchoring (beneficial).
• Previous experience working with Procore or other quality control tools (desired).
