What you would be doing

- Participates in weekly and monthly inventory counts and report quantities to purchasing.
- Contact and interface with press vendor support as necessary.
- Keep the production facility clean and organized. Consistently follows all safety protocols.
- Assists in training/coaching new employees and aid production team to meet departmental needs.
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during job submission or the operator process.
- Obtains manufacturing orders and stock orders from the production planning department. Receives raw materials, or goods-in-process, along with order, verifying orders are correct and determines whether order is complete or incomplete.
- Completes required Manufacturing and Stock Order paperwork for established quality requirements.
- Proofreads signs and labels and conducts quality assurance to ensure the production of high quality, accurate signs and labels while meeting on-time delivery.
- Gains technical understanding of how each material/product is produced and how to manufacture each item. Ensures finished products meet quality and customer specification standards.
- Monitor High Frequency Service Items (HFSI’s) and perform repairs, adjustments and general maintenance procedures as necessary.
- Operator must retrieve order files and manipulate layouts in order to produce accurate products as specified by the customer.
- Sends material to the next stage in the manufacturing process as defined by the Manufacturing Order.
- Consistently performs at the highest level of manufacturing efficiency and quality standards (accuracy, scrap, utilization, rework, equipment downtime).

- Technical skills related to basic equipment maintenance required.
- No less than 5 years previous experience in print, CNC or engraving.
- Experience in Adobe Illustrator required.
- High attention to detail; a good eye for color and design is necessary.
- Self-motivated, ability to work at a fast pace.
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree in print or graphics preferred.
- Must be proficient in MS Office products.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work entire shift on feet.
