Quality Technician

Description

• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance, life, or material characteristics.
• Assist with the administration of the calibration system. This includes keeping calibration cycles up to date for gages/fixtures that are calibrated internally and externally.
• engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or
• Ensures that material in the nonconforming material system (NCMR) is segregated and dispositions are obtained in a timely manner.
• Receives, inspects and dispositions customer returned material. Ensures the material is appropriately identified and records the disposition/status per the Quality Management System software.
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality
• Assists with the layout inspection for First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR), tooling verification, set up verification and in-process inspections.
• Maintain the integrity of the Harrington Quality Management System (HQMS), including the ISO compliance structure, ensuring proper documentation processes, and audit effectiveness.
