The Transportation Services department manages PG&E’s vehicle and equipment fleet, covering design through disposition. It includes engineering, field operations, business support, strategy, and analytics, overseeing more than 14,000 vehicles, compliance, capital planning, clean‑air initiatives, project support, policy review, safety and technical analyses.
The role coordinates, services, and supports PG&E clients by fulfilling supplemental vehicle needs, working with rental vendors to obtain vehicles, equipment, components, and attachments. It also analyzes utilization reports for rental and pool information. The position operates in a hybrid model, working remotely and at an assigned location within PG&E’s service territory.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience. Desired qualifications include an associate’s degree or equivalent experience. The role involves coordinating maintenance, repairs, and roadside assistance for rental assets and developing reporting systems to track their status.
PG&E provides a salary range based on locality, with a California minimum of $93,000 and a maximum of $127,000. Actual salary will consider skills, education, certifications, experience, market value, location, and internal equity, and the successful candidate is expected to be placed near the mid‑to‑entry point of the range.
