Sales Engineer

Description

• Work closely with customers to understand their applications and recommend the right technical solutions.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to support ongoing business growth.
• Stay up to date with new technologies, products, and supplier developments.
• Manage enquiries from first contact through to final order, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience.
• Produce accurate, competitive quotations aligned with customer requirements.
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within your region.

Requirements

We’re searching for a motivated sales professional with strong technical knowledge of industrial automation. The company is a long-established UK distributor supplying automation, control, sensing, safety, drives, motion, and panel-building components to OEMs, system integrators, and end users across multiple industries.

• Strong IT skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Solid understanding of industrial automation and control products (e.g., PLCs, sensors, safety, drives, control gear, etc.).
• Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills.
