Both Account Manager I and II provide pre‑deal and post‑deal support to the sales team and assigned customers, requiring strong knowledge of Constellation’s systems and processes. The role demands effective communication in person, by phone, or email to strengthen relationships, drive satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Key duties include delivering best‑in‑class post‑deal solutions, conducting welcome calls, managing pricing and contracts, acting as internal deal coordinator, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues quickly. Account Managers also support renewals, new business, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 2 years of experience for AM I (6 years if no degree) or 5 years for AM II (9 years if no degree). Candidates must be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, possess strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, and be able to build and maintain internal and external relationships while managing multiple deadlines.
Preferred qualifications are experience in the natural‑gas or broader energy industry, prior account‑management or direct customer‑service roles, and intermediate to advanced Excel abilities such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

The Account Manager position can be filled at the I or II level, with salary ranges of $74,800‑$88,000 for I and $90,950‑$107,000 for II, dependent on experience. The role is hybrid, based out of Kennett Square, De Pere, Chicago, Houston, or Louisville, with 1‑2 days per month in the office and occasional travel as required.
