Engineer/ Groundskeeper

Overview

Maintain hotel facilities, handling repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC.

Tasks

-Use arithmetic to measure, compute number of materials to use, and to inspect -Use hands, arms, and fingers. -Execution of assigned tasks, projects, or programs, as instructed by the department’s management and ensure completion competently within a given time. -May tend furnace, air conditioner, and boiler to provide heat, cool air, and hot water for guests. -Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment. -Work to precise measurements. -Lift and move materials and products. -Maintains hotel by performing minor routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities, using hand tools. -Visualize how finished product will look or how system will operate. -To ensure any work requests that may come from the hotel guests or senior management are responded to withing a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken. -Replace air conditioner filters.
