In this highly visible role the partner will lead a team that provides tax compliance and tax provision outsourcing for middle‑market, private‑equity‑backed, and public companies. The leader will act as a role model, coaching, mentoring, and training staff to deliver high‑quality client service. Business development is a core expectation, leveraging a strong professional network and collaborating with other firm leaders to grow the practice. The position is based in Boston or Waltham, offers limited travel, and may include relocation assistance.
Candidates must hold an active CPA license and have extensive experience in business taxation at a large public accounting firm, focusing on federal (ASC 740), multi‑state, and international tax compliance and consulting for large middle‑market clients and U.S. subsidiaries of foreign multinationals. Experience in technology, private‑equity, or venture‑capital industries is a plus, and prior international or M&A tax work is desirable. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to act as a trusted advisor, and proven leadership in staff development. Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical abilities are also essential.
