The Fire and Safety Officer – Property and Asset Management role is responsible for overseeing fire safety at the assigned site. You will use the allocated apparatus and follow command‑structure instructions for fire suppression or related emergencies.
Key duties include equipment set‑up upon arrival at a fire scene, dispatching and accompanying the Emergency Response Team, preparing and executing fire‑ and life‑safety evacuation drills and training, and conducting rescue, firefighting and salvage operations. You will also determine if individuals are trapped, perform lift evacuation drills, secure structures to prevent rekindling, inventory equipment, record incident reports, attend pre‑fire planning studies, liaise with government authorities for NOC renewal, and maintain up‑to‑date checklists and records for equipment maintenance and training.
We are looking for someone analytical and meticulous who ensures that all fire and life‑safety systems function effectively and can determine the appropriate type and quantity of fire equipment for each area.
Qualifications include a Diploma or Degree in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and solid knowledge of current fire suppression, firefighting techniques, and emergency medical services principles.
