Prepare 2D CAD drawings (plans, profiles, sections, and details) for contract documents based on input and guidance from engineers and other design staff and in accordance with internal drafting standards.

Prepare Civil3D drawings for tunnel projects including grading plans, tunnel alignment, profiles, and sections.
Meetings with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
Develop and utilize BIM models for tunnel and underground applications.
Manage CAD drafting standards and procedures for Schnabel’s Tunnel Business Unit.
Maintain drawing files, CAD standards, and other digital files in accordance with internal procedures.
Perform training of other technical staff on drafting standards and procedures.
Participate in professional trainings to develop and implement new skills related to the various disciplines of work.
Create new drawings from historical as-built drawings and records.
Prepare graphics for engineering reports, professional papers, and presentations.
Prepare 3D models for displaying complex features or structures.

10+ years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D in a civil design capacity.
Degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and flexible to changes in work assignments as changes occur in project needs.
