This position oversees commercial/site and residential land development projects, ensuring they meet contractual agreements, stay within budget, and are completed on schedule. It also involves leading a team of engineers and support personnel and active participation in professional associations and community organizations.
The role includes preparing proposals and client agreements, developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, public agency officials, and community leaders, and coordinating and monitoring project tasks, budgets, and schedules. It also requires responsibility for the technical and professional development of the project team, leading design, plan production, and permitting activities, contributing to company design standards, and engaging in professional and civic organizations.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida. They should have at least seven years of experience managing large‑scale projects from conception to completion, including cost estimating for commercial/site and residential development, with a minimum of four years in Southwest Florida, as well as extensive knowledge of design and construction practices.
