Lead and supervise the surveying team assigned to the tunnel section of the project.
Coordinate with engineers and construction managers to interpret project plans and provide accurate layout and staking.
Establish and maintain accurate horizontal and vertical control networks within the tunnel.
Communicate effectively with the design and construction teams to resolve discrepancies or unexpected site conditions.
Implement safety protocols and quality control procedures within the surveying team.
Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and use of surveying equipment (e.g., total stations, digital levels, laser scanners, gyroscopic systems).
Train and mentor junior surveyors and assistants.
Conduct daily and periodic tunnel alignments, as-built surveys, and monitoring of deformations or displacements.
Maintain detailed survey records, field notes, and reports.

Proficiency with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Leica Cyclone).
Strong understanding of tunnel boring machines (TBM), NATM methods, or similar tunneling techniques.
Degree or diploma in Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Ability to lead a team and work under pressure in confined underground environments.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Proven experience in underground or tunnel surveying, preferably in major infrastructure projects.
Benefits
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am-6 pm (10 hours) (1 hour lunch). There is the possibility of working some Saturdays.
