Remodel Technician

Description

The Renovation Technician supports the renovations department, carrying out a variety of construction duties under supervisor direction.

• Greet residents, employees, and guests warmly by name with a smile.
• Treat everyone with courteous respect.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to resident, employee, and guest needs.
• Listen and respond enthusiastically in a timely manner.
• Make residents, employees, and guests feel important.
• Maintain professionalism in conduct and appearance at all times.
• Perform carpentry, drywall installation, taping, texturing, painting, and form setting.
• Operate the company truck to transport workers, materials, and light equipment.
• Prioritize tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Follow specific work duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Use hand and power tools; lift and carry equipment or materials as needed.
• Read and follow oral and written instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Establish and maintain good working relationships.

Requirements

The position requires a solid grasp of construction equipment, safe operation of hand and power tools, and the ability to follow oral and written directions while maintaining good working relationships.

Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, with technical schooling preferred, and at least one year of experience in construction, maintenance, or general labor. Certain community roles may require proof of vaccination for diseases such as MMR, chickenpox, hepatitis, flu, and COVID‑19.
