Undergraduate degree related to environmental science, physical geography, earth sciences, environmental engineering, or aquatic ecology. A graduate degree in related disciplines would be considered an asset.
Swiftwater training, ATV/UTV/Argo Safe Operations certifications are a strong asset.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with hydrology, geomorphology, and groundwater field methods
Experience with Hydrometric data production, hydrological characterization, and modelling
Valid BC driver’s license
Proficiency with R, Python and/or a background in computer science and other applicable programming languages
Flexibility and willingness to travel for fieldwork
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
