Physical Requirements: Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, 50lbs frequently, 20lbs. constantly), climbing, standing, shoveling, walking, pushing, pulling, and operating tools and mobile equipment to a significant degree in physically intense settings. Must be physically able to perform all essential job functions, including the ability to communicate verbally using a phone and radio, to hear verbal commands and audible alarms in order to safely operate around large mobile equipment and automatic conveyor belt systems. Must be able to pass a physical exam to include back x-ray, vision test, hearing test, functional capability evaluation, respiratory fit test and drug / alcohol screen.
Experience: Four years of general plant experience or six years of cement plant experience if joining from outside the company.
