Lead the transition from Design to Construction coordination, including:
Work alongside project teams to understand project requirements, client expectations, and governing building codes/standards to create, maintain, and deliver reliable and compliant BIM designs.
Provide support to field teams post-coordination.

Lead teams in resolving critical design conflicts and coordination issues.
Create and deliver completely coordinated federated model for viewing at weekly meetings.
Assist in continued improvements with VDC standards, training and execution for Landmark Construction.

Assist in the development, implementation and oversight of construction operations initiatives.

Assist with preparation of coordination schedule for project.
Serve as a point-of-contact and subject matter expert for all things VDC/BIM
Resolve conflict issues and design related RFI’s prior to 100% construction documents.
Ensure that any contract with Landmark Construction’s preferred consultant is in place.
Coordinate and resolve field issues with sub-contractors.
Monitor teams in the proper use of VDC throughout the life of the project.
Prepare models for easy viewing on iPads for field operations.
Assist the overall training and development of construction employees.
Implement, monitor and maintain VDC standards on all projects using BIM.
Collaborate with design, trade partners and project teams to successfully deliver coordinated 3D models on projects within scheduled timeframes.
Lead weekly BIM Coordination meetings with the design and subcontractor teams, including prepare reports, update dashboards, prepare documents (i.e. mark-ups, screen shots), maintain and distribute meeting minutes, and track action items.
Implement the BIM execution plan on new projects.
Ensure BIM design and construction coordination schedules are tracking in line with project schedule and report any slippage to the project team.
Establish and manage LOD requirements to completion at each plan progression.
Ensure the BIM language included in contracts has been agreed to by all parties.
Update Procore RFI/Observations. Complete a weekly review of these with project team and ensure any new items are entered and tracked to completion.
Train and develop field employees and teams in the use of VDC on projects.
Lead the design coordination meetings and update reports with status of each action item.
Assist in growing VDC capabilities and increase the adoption of VDC across Landmark Construction projects.
Research and develop new ways to utilize technology and model-based information throughout the lifecycle of projects.
Support operations department in future 4D and potential 5D implementation.
Review BIM execution plan requirements with sub's in-house BIM team if they are not using Landmark Construction’s preferred consultant.

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Construction Technology, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related industry.
Advanced knowledge and experience with software applications such as: Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
Confidence to develop and manage the entire technology process.
Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
Advanced understanding of design, construction, tools/equipment, and technology processes, platforms and workflows.
Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Procore, and Primavera.
Ability to identify deficient processes and helps to create or improve processes throughout Virtual Construction.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Minimum 5 years of construction technologies hands-on experience in the AEC industry working on the adoption of VDC on large capital projects.
