Project Coordinator

Description

The Senior Project Coordinator collaborates with Project Managers, Superintendents, Project Engineers, the Controller, owners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The role provides comprehensive exposure to job‑cost accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, contracts, insurance, bonding, budgeting, tax audits, and the full project life‑cycle from start‑up to close‑out. Responsibilities are performed using Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate and Procore.

• Complete project setup from an accounting perspective, assisting with contracts, insurance, bonding, and document tracking.
• Perform job cost accounting, enter estimates, subcontractor commitments, budget revisions, change orders, and conduct month‑end reconciliations in ERP and Procore.
• Prepare Owner Pay Applications, set up schedules of values, gather billing documents, and manage approval and payment status.
• Generate GMP/CMGC billings and use owner‑specific software to produce all job‑related accounting documents.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with contracts, vendor verification, tax information, retainage, and maintain related logs and files.

Requirements

• Hold a High School Diploma with 4‑6 years of construction coordination and 4‑6 years of job‑cost accounting experience, including cost reconciliation, estimating, budgeting, and GMP/CMGC billing.
• Demonstrate strong customer service, communication, organizational, problem‑solving, and negotiation skills.
• Exhibit exceptional attention to detail in analytics, accounting, documentation, dates, figures, and deadlines.
• Have experience with Sage 300 CRE and Procore construction software.
• Able to work onsite in the Frederick, CO office five days a week.
