In this role you will recruit, train, and supervise a team of service technicians, estimators, and project managers, establishing performance expectations for safety, quality and profitability while fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily scheduling and dispatch, managing projects from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring accurate documentation, monitoring costs and margins, and maintaining compliance with manufacturer specifications and OSHA regulations.
The position also focuses on customer relations and business development by serving as the primary contact for commercial accounts, conducting inspections, and building recurring revenue through maintenance agreements, while meeting financial targets such as revenue, margin, and EBITDA.
- Recruit, train, and supervise service technicians, estimators, and project managers
- Set performance expectations for cycle times, safety, quality, and profitability
- Conduct coaching sessions, ride‑alongs, and performance evaluations
- Oversee daily scheduling, dispatch, and coordination of service and reroof work
- Ensure accurate inspection reports, scopes of work, and project documentation
- Manage active reroof projects from pre‑construction through closeout
- Monitor job costs, change orders, margins, and production efficiency
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer specifications, warranties, and OSHA regulations
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, and tools to support field operations
- Provide accurate estimates for repair, maintenance, and reroof projects
- Identify roof system failures and recommend long‑term asset management solutions
- Prepare budgetary options, value‑engineering alternatives, and lifecycle recommendations
- Serve as primary point of contact for commercial accounts, general contractors, property managers, REITs, and facility owners
- Conduct onsite inspections and present repair or reroof proposals with technical detail
- Build recurring revenue through preventative maintenance agreements and long‑term service packages
- Drive revenue, margin, and EBITDA targets for the service and reroof division
- Review weekly and monthly financial reports to ensure performance aligns with goals
- Implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability
- Reduce callbacks, rework, and warranty exposure through strong QA/QC practices
- Enforce company and OSHA safety standards and conduct job‑site safety audits
- Verify craftsmanship quality, flashing details, drainage requirements, and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain warranty documentation and inspection records

Qualified candidates will have at least five years of experience in commercial roofing service or repair, strong technical knowledge of roofing systems, proven team‑leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, a clean driver’s license, and the physical capability to perform job‑site duties.
- Stay current with commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, coatings, and metal
- Possess 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing service, repair, or reroof operations
- Demonstrate ability to read blueprints, roof plans, moisture surveys, and technical specifications
- Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years
- Preferred experience with CRM/ERP platforms and manufacturer certifications
- Physically able to lift up to 80 lb, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions
