Assist with set up, basic troubleshooting and repairs if needed.

Coordinate with other service & part sources (Non-CAT specific) when needing to order certain unit parts or services to repair/fix returned fleet unites.
Deliver and assist with loading & unloading project components on the customer’s job site.
Responsible for Power Systems Division rental fleet while at the Altorfer shop. Responsible for all units (generators and other types of equipment such as compressors, chillers, a/c, heaters, cables, distribution and more).
Responsible for rental fleet unit check in & check out, unit readiness (functional runs and appearance), and basic troubleshooting/preventative maintenance.
Responsible for completing rental paperwork for Power Systems records and maintaining unit status.
Complete rental documentation for customer’s unit status.

Ability to follow all safety rules and wear proper safety equipment.
Previous experience working in a field related to electronic diesel engines, fuel systems, generators, air compressors, heaters, air conditioning etc. is preferred.
Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are required.
CDL preferred but not required.
Excellent planning & organizational skills are needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Completion of formal technical training program or minimum of three years’ relevant experience is preferred.
Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and various CAT Programs.
Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Must have your own basic tools.
Ability to respond to callouts, work overtime and weekends when needed.
