  • Manage the JD Edwards ERP system transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, reclasses and returns through the administration of the inventory transaction forms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean inventory practices
  • Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies; document findings and support corrective actions.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving ERP system data integrity related to inventory
  • Monitor and manage the inventory transaction form inbox.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory handling and documentation.
  • Manage the physical movement and JD Edwards ERP transactions of materials, including adjustments, transfers, and returns.
  • Provide training and support floor staff on inventory procedures as needed.
  • Support the implementation of inventory control procedures and best practices to reduce waste and improve inventory turnover.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Finance, Receiving and Shipping teams to resolve issues.
  • Support coordination and execution of daily and ad hoc cycle counts in JDE to maintain inventory accuracy across the facility.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Use of safety equipment and adherence to safety protocols is required.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (experience with JD Edwards preferred).
  • Knowledge of inventory transactions (adjustments, scrap, backflushing, WIP movement).
  • May involve standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 30 lbs).
  • A High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, business, or related field preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting quality audits and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends based on production or inventory needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • An understanding of manufacturing processes, especially in the power generation or electrical components industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
