  • Manage the scheduling of work, priorities and resource requirements with a focus on achieving the expected quality and completion dates for projects.
  • Manage and monitor engineering workhours budgets during project design stages and provide input to developing workhour budgets during studies and tenders.
  • Manage Engineers/ Designers to ensure authorisation and issue of documents and drawings to the project team, vendors, sub-consultants, statutory authorities and other as necessary.
  • Engage and administer technical briefs for sub-consultant engagement.
  • Work in conjunction with management on resource planning processes to ensure resource requirement for the project’s design are met.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Clients with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance of project design team with the Sedgman’s ‘Design Management Systems’, including lessons learned.
  • Prepare and control the Project Design Management Plan.
  • Monitor and evaluate the work of engineers and drafting staff allocated to your projects to ensure that their technical competence and performance meet requirements.
  • Coordinate design interfaces with the Client’s other designers as required.
