Under the supervision of the Senior Job Developer, the Job Developer establishes and maintains activities to develop, locate, and secure job opportunities for program participants. Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination is required.

- Develop and maintain employer relationships in the community
- Assess participants’ skill sets and experiences to match appropriate job opportunities
- Coordinate and attend job fairs for outreach and recruitment
- Create and maintain employer resource information and a job bank
- Deliver job‑readiness training workshops, simulating workplace environments when possible
- Assist participants in evaluating their job skills for positions
- Instruct participants on job seeking, application procedures, resume writing, interview preparation, and job retention
- Provide job search and career‑information workshops and presentations
- Arrange interviews for participants
- Supply participants with labor market information
- Develop work‑experience program internship placement sites
- Conduct job site visits after placement to ensure success and provide job analysis
- Monitor participant performance on the job and counsel when performance is unsatisfactory
- Refer qualified participants to employers and follow up after placement
- Maintain knowledge of training and educational opportunities available to participants/residents
