Description

• Perform on‑site assessments of underground and aerial cable damages.
• Interview contractors, technicians, witnesses, police, homeowners, etc. at damage sites.
• Photograph and document damage scenes to determine liability.
• Coordinate with client’s locate company and share damage information.
• Analyze evidence to identify the liable third‑party.
• Apply State Dig Laws, excavator requirements, and NESC standards.
• Build professional relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Obtain and document job repair costs from clients and contractors.
• Compile case materials and email to the local handling office.
• Assist Claims Recovery team with follow‑up actions after site reviews.
• Develop monthly market reports and lead client meetings for updates.
• Maintain knowledge of the PRG claims process.
• Drive personal vehicle to damage sites, day or night.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lb and bend, stoop, or reach as needed.

Project Resources Group (PRG) is seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Cable & Telecom Damage Specialist in Houston, TX. In this hands‑on role you will collect, analyze, and review evidence related to third‑party utility damages to determine liability, working independently and delivering precise, professional results.

• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle and auto insurance meeting minimum 100/300/100 liability coverage.
• Willingness to use personal vehicle for work‑related travel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and shared computer systems.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
• Familiarity with cable or utility locating industry.
• Experience in telephone industry, equipment, and job costing.
• Background in business operations with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods and work on uneven terrain in varying weather.
