The Hire Controller will manage client interactions and oversee equipment logistics, working closely with operations to ensure smooth hire processes and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Act as primary client contact for plant hire inquiries and coordination.
- Schedule and organise equipment delivery, collection, and site mobilisation.
- Provide accurate quotations and maintain regular communication throughout hires.
- Collaborate with Operations to allocate and inspect equipment before and after use.
- Complete and manage all required documentation, including delivery notes and safety certificates.
- Resolve client issues or complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
- Generate regular reports on equipment availability, utilisation, and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and health‑and‑safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of hire activities, client details, and equipment specifications.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and customer service.

Successful candidates will have prior experience in plant hire, strong organisational and planning abilities, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of plant specifications and health‑and‑safety regulations. - Previous experience in a similar plant‑hire role.
