What you would be doing

  • Prepare, present and deliver tenders up to $50mil
  • Develop estimates from first principles using site productivity rates using Pronamics Expert Estimation.
  • Compile accurate material quantity take-offs to develop bills of quantities
  • Preparation of tender programs Microsoft Project or Primevera P6
  • Prepare and develop accurate first principles cost estimates, including cost escalation analysis
  • Support the preparation and development of construction methodologies, programs, and submission documentation
  • Coordinate team activities and conduct tender cost estimate review meetings
  • Review and validate subcontractor pricing across all service disciplines
  • Review designs and engineering specifications for cost effectiveness
  • Request additional information via RFIs to complete tender documents
  • Deliver detailed tenders with traceability and provide support for pre-contracts and delivery
  • Identify the need for additional information or clarification through RFIs to ensure complete tender documents
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and maintain positive relationships

  • Exposure to varied industries incl. infrastructure, marine, mining and defence
  • Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Experience in engineering and resource industries
  • First principal experience with pricing internal labour to complete work scopes
  • Interpersonal skills, confident, professional and self-motivated
  • Would suit someone reinforced concrete and civils experience
  • Strong formwork, steel fixing and concrete placement experience.
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar equivalent
  • Prior experience in civil and concrete in Pilbara & metro region
