Account Representative - Warranty and Repair

Description

In this role the representative maintains positive relationships with builder and homeowner accounts, serves as the primary point of contact for warranty and repair issues, and ensures all administrative work is completed accurately and on schedule according to each builder’s installation timeline.

• Read builder specifications and multitask while maintaining data entry accuracy.
• Respond to customer concerns regarding warranty issues, repairs, and materials.
• Resolve problems that arise during or after installation.
• Monitor and track orders to ensure accuracy, completion, job costing, and billing.
• Provide feedback to resolve discrepancies and eliminate order processing errors.
• Receive bi‑weekly payroll via direct deposit.
• Participate in retirement plans, including an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 401(k) with matching contributions.
• Maintain high attention to detail.

Requirements

The position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate between field and office teams, while a background in flooring or experience with RFMS software is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Apply data management, mathematical computation, analysis, and communication skills.
• Learn and adapt to various flooring‑specific software platforms.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, customer service, and administrative skills.
• Multi‑task effectively in a fast‑paced customer service environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel, and other administrative software.
• Exhibit strong mathematical aptitude.
• Preferable but not required: prior flooring background or RFMS software experience.
