Designs or participates in design for minor structures and portions of buildings.
Designs structures using knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering.

Developing professional expertise, applies company policies & procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
Participates in reviews and recommends approval of design drawings and data for compliance with requirements.
Provides input to and/or maintains technical logs and records.
Prepares building material interface details for review by senior personnel.
Assists in constructability reviews.
Prepares or participates in preparation of construction drawings, project schedules, graphic presentations, civil drawings, steel and concrete calculations, and material requisitions.
Coordinates development and presentation of material when requested.
Applies company policies & procedures to resolve mostly routine issues.
Coordinates work and collaborates with other engineering disciplines.
Participates in the design, development, modification, and evaluation of Civil/Structural components and processes.
Checks manufacturers’ drawings and data for compliance with specification and design drawings.
Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations.
Originates structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and material requisitions.
