The role establishes outcome‑focused governance, provides a transparent view of initiatives, risks, interdependencies, value, and resource needs, and owns a cross‑team dependency framework to prevent bottlenecks and improve delivery confidence. It leads annual and quarterly OKR cycles, facilitates Quarterly Northstar Syncs for prioritization and dependency alignment, defines and publishes portfolio KPIs via executive dashboards, and standardizes planning rhythms that protect autonomy while increasing flow. The Director also stays abreast of AI advancements and clarifies decision rights across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and IT.

Candidates bring 15+ years of portfolio/program management and PMO leadership experience in SaaS/technology environments, with a proven impact in product‑centric and scaled delivery contexts. They have deep expertise in cross‑team dependency orchestration, strong partnership skills with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, IT, and Finance, and excel at executive communication, storytelling, and analytical dashboarding. A bias for action, ownership, and the ability to facilitate autonomy and clarity are essential.
The position involves frequent sitting, telephone communication, and extended computer work, requiring good visual acuity. Team members must maintain an ergonomically appropriate remote workspace, work hybrid 2‑3 days per week in the Atlanta office, and reside within the United States.
