The Construction Laborer works with supervisors and peers to locate, investigate, and clean sewer and stormwater lines for successful rehabilitation and repair. The role involves setting up and cleaning job sites, handling equipment, and ensuring safety compliance throughout the project.
- Collaborate with supervisors and peers on water and sewer rehabilitation projects.
- Align, move, and adjust equipment to meet location requirements.
- Set up and clean job sites, lifting, carrying, and pulling items over 50 lb.
- Review entry and work permits and assist with pre‑ and post‑installation video reviews.
- Enter manholes and confined spaces.
- Conduct job site setup and cleanup.
- Haul equipment and crew by operating various vehicles.
- Complete daily driver’s duty records.
- Submit work orders for vehicle and equipment maintenance as needed.
- Monitor safety hazards continuously and report issues to supervisor.
- Support corporate safety initiatives for a safe work environment.
- Adhere to PURIS’s Code of Conduct daily.
