Train customers, end users, and partners on safe and effective equipment use and maintenance best practices
Manage escalations from the team and customers, providing timely resolution and support.
Install, commission, maintain, and repair 3D printers and related equipment at customer sites
Partner with customers to deeply understand their needs, engineering challenges, and problem sets.
Maintain accurate service records, including repairs, parts usage, and customer interactions
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and wiring diagrams
Develop and maintain workflows and release environments in collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ARENA, Jira).
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on 3D printing systems and supporting infrastructure, including HVAC and compressed air systems
Follow all safety, security, lab, and manufacturing protocols
Collaborate with engineering on escalated issues and provide field feedback to drive product improvements
Develop or refine technical service procedures and documentation
Support cross-functional stakeholders and operations teams with technical insights during customer interactions and lifecycle management

Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in dynamic environments
Minimum 5 years operating, maintaining, or repairing complex machinery in lab or manufacturing environments
Experience servicing 3D printers, specifically HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) series
Understanding of enterprise networks, OS management, and printer IT integration
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in field service, technical support, or machine repair roles
Proficient technical writing skills for documenting systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of 3D printing materials (thermoplastics, photopolymers, metals, ceramics)
Basic CAD experience and ability to interpret technical drawings
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support offsite deployments
Experience servicing industrial, semiconductor, optics, or precision manufacturing equipment
Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across engineering and field operations teams
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally for field operations, integration events, customer support and testing
Proven ability to service, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and compressed air systems in industrial or manufacturing environments
U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR regulations & the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies (FDM, SLS, SLA)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field; may substitute equivalent hands-on experience in lieu of a degree
Experience with service management tools and platforms
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and wear appropriate PPE [as required]
This role requires an on-site presence
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems (mastery in at least one area preferred)
Proficiency with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, calibration devices)
Military service or startup experience is a plus
