Taking items from shop drawings to 100% buildable work orders
Layout: Creating layout/ cut list tags for the shop to produce, machine & build from.
Creating a cut-list through Microvellum or similar software
Coordinate with the shop during production as needed
The Engineering department comprises both Shop drawing Engineers and Layout Engineers. We eventually want all Engineers to have the ability to provide a level of both, despite their primary role.
An understanding of cabinet construction
Minimum 2 years of experience with Microvellum or AutoCAD
Experience with Alphacam is a plus
CNC programs through Alphacam or similar software
Experience creating cut-list/layout for the shop to produce from
An understanding of how to read Architectural drawings
Compensation: $40-$60 (pending experience and capabilities)
