- Support development of robust and pragmatic solutions to complex HRA issues.
- Lead and deliver high‑quality HRA consultancy and advisory services, including checks and reviews.
- Produce HRA reports for Local Plans and Development Consent Orders across the UK, ROI, and Europe.
- Interpret noise, water quality, and air quality data within an HRA context.
- Author or technically check project deliverables to ensure high‑quality outputs.
- Provide expert witness services on Local Plan HRAs and NSIP examinations.
- Prepare commercially strong bids and tenders for HRA services in energy, defence, and water sectors.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource management for HRA projects, maintaining budgets and client contact.

Ideal candidates have proven experience leading HRA work, managing project budgets and stakeholder discussions, reviewing technical outputs, and supporting team members. Membership of a relevant professional body such as CIEEM and progress toward chartership are required, along with a full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
- Demonstrated experience leading and managing HRA work.
- Proven track record in work‑winning, project budgeting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience reviewing technical work and mentoring team members.
- Member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., CIEEM) and progressing toward chartership.
- Full driving licence with willingness to travel to client sites.
- Open to ecologists with HRA expertise or other environmental professionals with substantial HRA knowledge.
