Description

• Own the carbon strategy – maintain and evolve the carbon management plan, driving progress toward Net Zero.
• Drive innovation – identify and develop new opportunities for carbon reduction across design and construction.
• Lead lifecycle assessments – collaborate with designers to deliver accurate LCAs and ensure final ‘as-built’ assessments are completed.
• Champion BREEAM performance – guide teams to meet targets, track progress, and support evidence submission.
• Engage and influence – chair the Carbon Steering Group, deliver impactful training, and inspire sustainable behaviours.
• Report and communicate – provide clear updates to stakeholders and ensure compliance with client requirements.

Are you ready to shape the future of sustainable construction? We’re seeking a driven Carbon Manager to lead carbon reduction and BREEAM certification on a high-profile project. You’ll work with top-tier teams to embed sustainability into every stage of design and delivery.

• Proven experience in carbon and BREEAM assessments within construction projects.
• Thorough understanding of LCA tools, sustainability standards, and environmental declarations.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
• Relevant degree and professional membership (e.g. MIEMA), plus CSCS card.
