The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the service department of an assigned Division, including supervising, training, and developing technicians, service coordinators, billing coordinators, and dispatchers. Core duties involve scheduling, executing, billing, and completing service, warranty, and emergency jobs, as well as conducting timely service inspections and resolving system deficiencies.
Financial stewardship is a key part of the role, requiring the development of budgets, meeting revenue and gross‑margin targets, delivering projects within budgeted costs, and performing monthly performance analysis for management. Additional responsibilities include efficient asset management, building a high‑performance culture through reviews and development initiatives, manpower planning, supporting cash collections, and ensuring safety compliance across the team.

Ideal candidates have two to five years of service operations management experience in fire detection, fire protection, security, or electrical environments, and possess strong communication skills for interacting with leadership, staff, customers, and vendors. They should demonstrate leadership, technical knowledge of fire alarm and suppression systems, proficiency with NFPA and OSHA standards, a solid grasp of P&L statements, NICET Level II certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to attract, develop, and retain talent.
