We are seeking a Materials Engineer to join our Dubai team, responsible for ensuring that all construction materials meet project specifications and quality standards. The role involves reviewing submissions, supervising testing, analysing results, and coordinating corrective actions to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and recommend approval of all contractor‑submitted materials.
- Ensure used materials comply with project specifications.
- Participate in construction quality control activities.
- Supervise, participate in, and direct sampling and testing of all materials per contract and specifications.
- Analyze test results promptly and recommend actions to the Senior Resident Engineer.
- Maintain records of test results and corrective actions taken.
- Track and review site testing and certificates of compliance.
- Follow up and verify implementation of corrective actions.
- Inspect and verify all delivered materials for conformance to project requirements and approval.
