Develop and impart training in all Lean topics as necessary
Develop and implement documented procedures including SWI, LSW, SOPs, auditing systems, quality standards, 5S assessments, Gemba walks, etc. to improve operations and overall performance
Leverages asset reliability and management strategies for a robust TPM system
Consistently monitor and periodically report status of progress and operations to leadership
Plan, maintain, and manage a pipeline for all productivity improvement projects to assure that annual productivity improvement goals are exceeded
Assess current state of Lean maturity in departments with goal of becoming HMS certified
Lead and facilitate Lean / Operational Excellence initiatives, including kaizen events and process improvement projects with the goal of reducing waste, improving flow, and increasing efficiency across production processes
Drive measurable improvements in SQDCPP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and People)
Apply advanced Lean and Six Sigma tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Hoshin planning, Root Cause Problem Solving (A3, 5-why), Visual Management, and Kanban
Identify and lead prioritization in cost reduction opportunities across the facility, assisting in productivity realizations and the facilitation of any needed AFE’s
Leader in the development and sustainment of the Hubbell Manufacturing System for the site
Trains teams and individuals in improvement processes, optimizes floor layout and material flow using Lean concepts
Coach team through Problem Solving process
Facilitate the writing of Approvals for Expenditure (AFE), track and report project savings and AFE’s status, and track capital expenditures to assure they are within planned targets
Collaborate with management to fine-tune and execute the plan. Provide constant follow-up and coaching, and report periodically to the management team

Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum; Black Belt preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Automate
Champions and shares Lean and Continuous Improvement Best Practices throughout the site
Proficiency in Maintenance Reliability
Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience in Lean / Continuous Improvement within manufacturing environments
Must have demonstrated project management experience in working with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, sourcing, and others) to improve OEE and other key metrics
Experience in leading Hoshin Kanri / Strategy Deployment at the plant / site level
